Dr. Sheria Rowe is a woman to be honored. She wears many hats as Founder of DRowe Enterprise, a college professor and entrepreneur .On March 14, 2018 we celebrated Dr. Rowe the author. The Lux Blog was there for the official release of her second novel “White Collar, Black Pumps: Volume II”.

The book release and signing celebration was held at Jimmy V’s Oyster Bar. The color theme was black, red and white which harmonized with the colors of Dr. Rowe's fierce novel cover.

Excitement and joyful cheer came with a table full of food, a magnetic photo booth and a excessively crafted cake. I had a chance to interview Dr. Sheria to ask questions about the evolution of this five book series ‘’White Collar, Black Pumps”. When asked to explain the initial incitement behind the book she stated that she wanted to “shed light on the discrimination that Black women face in the corporate sector”. In the novel London who is the main character will meet betrayal, make severe business decisions and learn to love and forgive her past so that she can BOSS up!

I enjoyed every minute of the event! Make sure to grab your copy from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and www.sheriarowe.com!
